Next day we drive further about 9 kilometers to explore Mt. Everest Base camp which is 5180 meters. Exploring the Base Camp, we drive to Kathmandu through Kerong border.

Day 1:

Fly to Lhasa.

Early morning take an hour scenic flight to Gonggor Airport, our Tibetan guide will receive you and transfer to the Lhasa city on private coach takes about 1/2 hours driving (90km).After arrive in Lhasa, rest and acclimatize. O/N at Hotel

Lhasa sightseeing.

Day 4:

Drive to Gyantse (3950m) 265km.

The day begins with our overland journey towards Everest Base Camp. We cross Kamba La (4795m) and Karo La (5045) via beautiful Yamdrok-tso lake.After few hours' drive pass the beautiful valley and colorful Tibetan village arrives in Gyantse. O/N at Hotel.

Day 5:

Drive to Shigatse(3900m) 90km.

Early morning we visit some old places in Gyantse then start our journey to Shigatse takes about 2/3 hours only. Shigastse is second largest city of Tibet where you get a good opportunity for both relaxation and exploration. Here we visit Tashilhunpo Monastery which is one of the largest functioning monasteries in Tibet. O/N at Hotel.

Day 6:

Drive to Xegar (New Tingri) 4050m, 244km.

After breakfast we start our journey to Xegar which is about 6/7 hours driving. This day we cross the highest pass Gyatmso La (5220m). While travelling the plains we will see many nomadic herders, quite countryside and old monasteries. This place also known as New Tingri. O/N at at Hotel.

Day 7:

Day 07 - Drive to Rongbuk (5100m) 65km.

This day we turn off the Friendship Highway and head south over the Pang La(5150m) towards the main Himalayan range. After the pass we enter in to the Rongbuk valley. We can see magnificent view of Mt Everest from here. O/N at Guest House.

Day 8:

Hike to Everest Base Camp (5180m) and drive to Kerong border.

This is the main highlight journey today as you have the opportunity to explore Everest Base Camp. The views of Mt Everest are so close making the mountain seem even more spectacular than before. You will see full length panoramic view of North Face of Mt Everest(8848m). After that our drive to Kerong border via Pekutso Lake with stunning view of mt Shishapangma. O/N at Hotel.

Drive to Kathmandu. 250km.

After immigration formalities at the border continue drive to Kathmandu takes about 7-8 hours. Transfer to the Hotel.
