Day 1:
ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU (14,00 meters)
Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. After checking in and freshening up, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the city on your own. You will stay overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu.
KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING & DRIVE TO NAGARKOT (Nagarkot 2175 Meters/ 28 KM 01 ½ Hours’ drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will start the day with a tour of some of Kathmandu's most famous landmarks, including the Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. Afterward, you will visit the ancient city of Bhaktapur and explore its Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, you will drive to the hill station of Nagarkot, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas and the sunset. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Nagarkot.
Rise early to catch the sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot. The view is spectacular, with the peaks of Dhaulagiri, Kanchenjunga, and even Everest visible on a clear day. After breakfast, you will visit the Changu Narayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site dedicated to Lord Vishnu. You will then drive back to Kathmandu and spend the night at your hotel.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will start the day with a visit to the Budhanilkantha Temple, home to a magnificent statue of Lord Vishnu lying on a bed of serpents. You will then visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, another UNESCO World Heritage site, and explore its ancient temples and palaces. In the afternoon, you will head to Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, which offers great views of the city. You will stay overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. This marks the end of your 4-night, 5-day trip to Kathmandu and Nagarkot.
